A few years back, I used to <s>date</s> hang out with a guy, Tom, who would reference Joseph Campbell. Just saw this quote in the beginning of an article in an old "O" magazine, and it struck me.
Yeah, my life hasn't turned out the way I planned it. Rich, beautiful and successful. I thought I would be all those things by now, and I'm not. So maybe I should just let go of that little fantasy and see what's behind Door # 3.
